Henry Tardo, a long-time member of Jubilee, passed away on Sunday, December 11. A memorial service will be held at Jubilee on Wednesday, December 14, at 6:30 PM. A meal for family and friends will follow.

Christmas Service

There will be a special evening of Christmas music, scripture readings, and a pot luck on Sunday, December 18. The pot luck begins at 5:30, and the service starts at 7:00.

Victory for Jubilee’s Youth!

After a long, epic battle, involving more than a few ‘questionable’ calls by the Ref, the Jubilee Youth made a comeback to win this year’s soccer match by a score of 4-3. No major injuries were reported, though there may be a few ‘grown-ups’ limping around. -Chris Bowers

1:00-3:00 – Auction

All proceeds benefit Pine Lake Fellowship Camp.

Remembering Helen Rawson

Services for Helen Marie Schanrock Rawson will be held today at 2:00 PM at Webb Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Long Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. A meal will follow at the Jubilee Mennonite Church gym.

Wednesday: Serving our community
8:00-8:45     Breakfast
8:45             Devotions
9:00             Jobs: Habitat,Wesley house, CPC
12:00-1:00   Lunch (with college group serving with Habitat)
1:00-2:30     Finish jobs and children prepare for going to nursing home
2:30             Leave for nursing home
3:00             Sing to and visit with residents

Thursday: Serving our world
8:00-9:00     Breakfast
9:00              Devotions, introduction to Stop Hunger Now. Project set-up
10:00- 12:00      Food packaging project
12:00-1:00   Soup lunch
